Former President Olusegun Obasanjo's multi million naira Hilltop mansion and official residence located in Abeokuta is on fire. The cause of the fire outbreak is still unknown.


Mad Christmas Cow Attacked Man In Onitsha Market

A middle-aged man trading at the Onitsha main market, Obinna Adimora has been admitted into a private hospital following injuries inflicted on him by a Christmas cow in Awada area of Onitsha yesterday. Trouble started for Obinna when tenants in a commercial building located in Ben Aghaeze Street contributed money and bought a live cow for Christmas merriment.

Daily Sun gathered that the cow was purchased at the popular Ugwuoba cattle market near Awka at the cost of N120, 000 while the tenants planned to kill the cow on December 25 morning and the meat shared in equal proportion among the contributors.

Lagos state Governor, Babatunde Fashola, yesterday visited the site of the boxing day firecracker explosion that razed about 15 buildings and killed an 11 year old boy.  Fashola said he plans to punish the owner of the store on Oko Awo street where the fire crackers were stored.
